After a day of mind busyness, watching this video has brought me home once again. Thank you so much. And thank you ego for releasing me.

This ‘2 dimensions of the ego’ observation is SO important as a tool for the expanding of the intuitive perception of one’s Presence, and I thank Leonard for it. Via a brief but absolute peak-experience of total Presence some months ago, I real-ised that ‘everything that the robot-mind thinks is wrong’, and this led me to go back to basics to further understand the mechanics of my multi-layered robot-self (the nature and mechanics of the psyche being something I already had some deep gnosis of). The ego is primarily just the focal point of externalising consciousness, but immediately behind this is an ego-complex (as Jung observed) which I communicate as being a myriad ‘little selves’ or programmes which re-activate and possess the ‘focal point me’, according to external stimuli and experiences. Then behind that lies (and it does lie!!) what Leonard calls the “capital E Ego’, which is like the dragon that guards the treasure of the Authentic Being: it’s the guardian of the threshold. But in order to get to the treasure of the Authentic Being – Presence here and now – we don’t slay this guardian but tame it through love and diamond-like perception (or truth – love being the medium of truth).
On the site I blog I noticed the recurrence of an error made by persons of very deep perception: persons who have clearly intuited the absolute and eternal behind all that is transient and thus ‘unreal’. That error being that the very wily ‘capital E Ego’ (which is the source of duality and illusion) claims that wonderful perception as its own, and thus declares that it has transcended duality and illusion. IE: it claims the ‘real’ as its own and emotionally puts down the ‘illusory’ (even the entire Creation and all experience), not realising that ‘real/illusory’ is also a part of the “illusion of duality”! Just as you can’t have up without down, you can’t have the real without the illusory. True Presence is a state beyond both concepts – and both ARE mental concepts – it’s a state of no separation, only ‘What Is’ and ‘I Am’ simultaneously. One can only BE this state after recognition of the existence of the ‘capital E Ego’ and then its taming through love.
Truly is the ‘capital E ego’ the Great Deceiver, and it’s presents the most formidable barrier between robot-living and Conscious Presence (and I so know that as I’m still taming mine!). But through love it DOES surrender, and then it merges with the Oneness of Presence – and all of Life shines.
