I am not afraid of loosing myself to a teacher. There are so few of them. The people who want my devotion are not my spiritual teachers, it is the people I meet everyday who want something from me. Of course I redirect them to someone else when I can or help them-whatever works for me at the time. Lots of people are interested in having more time with me (which can include sexual relations) with me. But I often don't feel the same way about them. They are just fascinated by the way I present material. I am just sharing what I feel and what truths I am feeling at the time. You hang around spiritual masters long enough and you start sounding like them.

I think Leonard is challenging people to have their immense love feelings and then not try to box it up in a comfortable relationship paradigm.

Leonard you are truly master of simple explanations of that what is. No walking round the park just hitting the core of every being. So it seems to me. Thank you so much.

There's nothing wrong with devotion. Just like anything else it ultimately must transcend its own limitations. A good teacher will help you transcend a personal devotion to their human form.

This is a wonderful pointer. It's easy and unhelpful to get attached to beliefs and concepts...and the messenger.

I also did fall in that trap before. I feel that in you I did find a teacher, who is also a friend, and love you for the so many ways you have been available to us with loving patience. I thank you for all you have given me personally and for the impact your teaching has made in my life. My time for devotion to a teacher is ended (and you helped with that), but I feel deep gratitude and respect for you.
