What is RSS?

You may have noticed the above icon on many websites and wondered what it is. This button represents an RSS feed.
RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is a technology used by millions of internet users around the world to keep track of their favorite websites. In the past, keeping up to date with changes to your favorite websites required you to bookmark and periodically visit them to search for updates. This was a very tedious process. That has changed with the development of RSS.
Using RSS, you can subscribe to all of your favorite RSS feeds, or news feeds as they are also called, and have this material sent directly to you in one location. Subscribing to an RSS feed is similar to creating a new email account. When you subscribe to a feed, new entries will arrive in your RSS reader marked as bold.
You can keep up to date with Leonard’s blog posts by subscribing to his RSS feed. When you subscribe, Leonard’s most recent blog updates will be sent directly to you! It is very easy to set up.
