In the two years I have been around Leonard, I have challenged his teachings at every turn. He has had the patience, humor, and knowledge to meet and exceed my challenges, and he has done so with humor, intelligence, and humility. It has been rewarding to begin to accept that Leonard's concern is truly to help people access truth. It is extremely rare, in this world, to encounter a spiritual being who gives so selflessly and profusely. What he gives is a message so simple and clear; 'be present, and become aware of that which pulls you out of presence'.

Several years ago I told a friend who had asked me what I wanted out of life, that I wanted to be free of fear, anxiety, anger and resentment. Later, I added judgment. Now, two years after having immersed myself with Leonard and his spiritual teachings, I can say that only traces of those qualities remain, and when they do arise I not only accept them as old patterns but know how to deal with them appropriately. As a lawyer usually interested only in hard facts and reasoned argument, I thought everything had to be worked out in or with my mind. Leonard's teachings showed me another way. His two-step dance of awakening is the mother of all roadmaps. In my opinion, and I've never had a guru in my 60 years of life, Leonard is the single most important person on this planet.
