Can you please enlighten me about the subject of sex. I have heard many masters speak of refraining from the act of ejaculation as it dissipates our energies. Do you have any comments or advice on this subject?

In a private session, you told me that I'm not in my power and you called me a "wimp!" Well now I am willing to look at that more closely. It is hard to acknowledge, but my marriage and my work life are hitting me right in the face. I'm a doormat and I don't like it. Now that I'm willing to face this problem and do something about it are there any tips you can give me to start taking control of my power and not be a doormat? I would appreciate any comments on this matter.

I was brought up a Catholic, and have always had the idea of God being a vast "super power" whom I could pray to. Now, I don't understand the notion of God at all and how to pray. I am told that "I am God" yet it is so hard for me to make sense of this because I have always thought of God as outside of me. How can I accept that this sense of "ME" is God when it clearly feels like it isn't? How do I pray? If I am God, then me praying to myself seems a bit silly.

I have run into the most intense frustration ever since I was introduced to the Advaita Vedanta community. I just can't "get" what they are saying. They say that there is nothing "to get" - just wake up and you're enlightened!!!. I realize we are all ONE, yet I still feel that I am an individual being. I feel such pressure to try to eradicate the notion that I am an individual. I try to force myself to see that I am the same being as everyone else. I have not slept a decent night's sleep in three months and have the worst kind of headaches and full body energy spasms because I don't know how to be "me", since I am told there is no "me". I no longer know how to "be" because my mind keeps coming in and saying "no, this is wrong, you are not enlightened, you are still believing that you are an individual".

In your introduction on the web site, you talk about "a total absence of judgment" as the second step in awakening. I find this very hard. I have experienced how judgment hurts me and others. Yet it is so very hard to overcome judgment in my life. Any suggestions that you have will be greatly appreciated.

The Advaitists believe in a Self or Brahman (hence "Self-realization) but the Buddhists deny any Absolute, but both believe in Enlightenment. Are they different Enlightenments or just different paths at reaching the same goal? Is there any real difference between the two?
