“True Awakening Is Not About Bliss or Ecstasy or Even Enlightenment. It Is Simply About Being Present Rather Than Being Lost in Illusion.”
Our minds are rarely silent. We live with a constant stream of thought, most of which is unconscious and unintended. This results in us being constantly in the past or future world of the mind.
To awaken simply means to come out of the past and future into the truth and reality of the present moment. As you deepen into Presence, you will open into peace, love, and Oneness. At the deepest level of awakened Presence, Heaven on Earth is revealed. To experience this even for a few moments is a blessing beyond imagining and it will transform your life.
For the past 40 years, Leonard Jacobson has been teaching a path of awakening that is profound, simple and direct.
Presence enhances every aspect of your life. This teaching is for both beginners and advanced seekers on the path of awakening, and for all those who want to overcome the pain and limitations of the past and open into a more loving and abundant world.
Join Leonard on this week-long residential retreat in the stunning region of Provence, France, where he will guide you into the direct experience of “Heaven on Earth.”
This is a “residential retreat” and all guests will stay at Résidence Les Belles Heures, located in the small village of Roaix, part of the Côte du Rhône wine region and close to the famous Mont Ventoux in Vaucluse.
Over the course of this retreat, participants will come together in Oneness and surrender to the depth and beauty of the present moment.
Each day, we will attend teaching sessions with Leonard where there will be opportunity for personal guidance, as well as individual time for silence and reflection. You will learn how to become instantly present without effort or practice; and bring awareness to all the ways you are constantly pulled out of Presence.
Résidence Les Belles Heures is located in a residential area of the village of Roaix, on the River Ouvèze.
Once a vineyard, this historic property has been beautifully restored. Guests are housed in individual self-contained residences with well-equipped kitchens, allowing you to prepare meals with fresh food purchased at the local markets and boulangeries.
The emphasis of the residence is intimacy, peace and serenity, with beautiful formal gardens and picturesque views to the surrounding vineyards and distant hills.
This retreat is for those who are ready to deepen into Presence whilst enjoying the splendor and beauty of a week in the South of France.
The Upper Vaucluse is consistently rated as one of the top vacation areas in the world, where nature, outdoor activities, history, gourmet food and excellent wines such as Chateauneuf du Pape & Gigondas create a unique environment.
The scenery is spectacular – with many ancient villages, like Avignon, Seguret, Crestet & Vaison la Romaine, vineyards, orchards, lush hills and sweeping views of the countryside.
Legendary Mont Ventoux, with its wide diversity of flora and fauna is designated as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. The region is also well-known for beautiful weather with more than 2800 hours of sunshine per year.
There are Double rooms, Single rooms and rooms with shared and private baths. Rooms are situated in shared and individual houses on the retreat grounds. Sheets and towels are included.
Food is not included in the cost of accommodation - each home has a fully equipped kitchen and supplies can be purchased in the village supermarket; a short walk from the center. Alternately, there are various dining options available in local restaurants.
An integral part of the retreat will include Local excursions: a morning visit to the famous market in Vaison la Romaine; and a day trip exploring one of the beautiful regions of Provence, visiting medieval hilltop villages and local sites. A group dinner with Leonard will also be organized. All costs of the additional activities are included in the Housing Costs.
